1. What are advantages and disadvantages of using Navisphere? Make sure that you discuss this from the viewpoint of both customers and contract carriers.
There are many advantages to using Navisphere from customers and carriers. For customers, its easy to use and can be accessed through the internet with no software installation. Customers can put their specific shipment requirements into the system and it will provide different quotes and estimated delivery times without them actually having to contact the carrier. As a carrier that is an advantage because they dont have to spend time giving customers quotes and they can put their time towards providing other services like making sure customers shipments are arriving on time. Using navisphere is a disadvantage for customers who dont have large amounts of cargo to ship because the system doesnt meet their needs.
3. What type of companies are good targets (potential users) for Navisphere? Make sure that you discuss specific characteristics of target customers such as size, industries to which they belong, technological capabilities, and geographic locations.
Companies that are good targets for Navisphere are typically smaller companies that prefer not to spend a lot of money on software licensing and other equipment. Using a cloud-based service like Navisphere allows them to reduce costs and gain significantly greater supply chain and visibility.

1. What are advantages and disadvantages of using Navisphere®? Make sure that you dis- cuss this from the viewpoint of both customers and contract carriers.
Navisphere offers flexible, efficient, and integrated technology solutions by allowing customers access to enhanced supply chain visibility, and optimizing their business processes. Some of the advantages obtained by using Navisphere include that there is no software needed to be installed because Navisphere is accessed through the internet. In addition, the system uses GPS technology to be able to track shipments near real time, which facilitates monitoring the shipments. Another advantage of this system is that it allows drivers to update the status of the shipment and also lets them communicate with the customer, in a timely manner, in the event that the shipment gets delayed. Lastly, Navisphere allows potential customers to obtain a detailed quote and provide the potential customer the best and most cost efficient solutions for their business.
Some of the disadvantages of Navisphere include the need to rely on internet connection to track or update the status of a shipment. Another disadvantage of Navisphere is that it is not very efficient for LTL cargo.

I think Navisphere is the right system for companies who ship large amounts of goods to and from other countries. In addition, companies who ship items of high importance that need to be delivered as fast as possible, such as medicine and food.

1. hat are advantages and disadvantages of using Navisphere? Make sure that you discuss this from the viewpoint of both customers and carriers.
Some of the advantages of Navisphere transportation include the following:
This particular system can be accessed online from anywhere in the world which provides convenience and ease of mind from many customers.
All modes of transportation can be made available from a single dash board which makes it easy to navigate the system, which is also very convenient for customers.
The users only need to pay for services used.
Upfront capital investment is not required from customers.
Total logistics management can be achieved through the platform
The shippers have access to wider choices in determining transportation decision making
Some of the disadvantages of the transportation system include the following:
The system is not very effective for less than truck load (LTL) cargo, which wouldnt be very useful for customers who have smaller shipments, and their needs arent completely addressed within the system. This could cause the company to experience a loss in their customers who do not ship truck loads due to the fact that the system isnt much tailored toward them.
